February 15th will now be a regular school day and March 1st will be our teacher workday/parent 
conference day. The time frame for the parent conferences will remain the same on March 1st, 2:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m.
The original calendar designated February 15th as a teacher workday/parent conference day and March 1st as a regular school day.
The Augusta County School Board approved this change on 2/4 in order to accomodate polling places for the Virginia Presidential Primary. With the Presidential Primary turnout expected to be larger than normal, this decision will alleviate the complexities of managing a public polling place, will ensure a secure environment, including traffic flow with our buses, parents, and citizens, and will maintain a normal instructional environment for schools.
