Shenandoah Valley Governor’s School, 49 Hornet Road, Fishersville, will conduct an information session for prospective students at 6:30 p.m. on November 21, 2016, at the school. This will provide 8th, 9th, and 10th grade-students and their parents an opportunity to visit SVGS and learn more about our program, admission requirements, and the admissions process.
Prospective students and parents who missed information sessions at their high school are encouraged to attend this meeting. 10th and 11th grade students interested in applying for the 2017-18 school year are encouraged to visit through the “spend a day” program to visit SVGS classes. Students should see their high school counselor to sign up.
Applications will be available on the website on December 1. All applications for 2017-18 are due February 20, 2017.
