←Previous: SVGS co-Film instructor, Zan Gillies, wins award! Zan recently was awarded the top prize for a pilot script for his own piece, “On the Skulls of Giants” in the international BlueCat screenwriting competition. There were 967 Pilot entry submissions. Well done Zan Gillies!

Next: Congratulations to Jackson Lee, 2023 SVGS graduate, and his instructor Mrs. Jo-el Nelson! Jackson won first place in JMU’s 2022-23 GIS Map Contest. Students from 28 schools participated in the contest. You can find more information on Jackson’s project in the link provided.→
