March 23 2020 *At 2:00 PM Monday, March 23,  Governor Ralph Northam announced that “all school – public and private – will be closed for the rest of this academic year.”Updates regarding the specific impact and expectations for SVGS students, parents, and staff during the closure will be forthcoming via email, CANVAS, and the school’s website.

March 20, 2020 Collegeboard announces the following changes for AP exams:

  • We’re providing free remote learning resources.
  • We’re investing in the development of a new at-home testing option.
  • Traditional face-to-face exam administrations will not take place. Students will take a 45-minute online free-response exam at home.
  • Some students may want to take the exam sooner rather than later, while the content is still fresh. Other students may want more time to practice. For each AP subject, there will be 2 different testing dates.

The full exam schedule, specific free-response question types that will be on each AP Exam, and additional testing details will be available by April 3.  See AP Updates for Schools Impacted by Coronavirus for more information.
