To help you with course selections and answer any remaining questions you might have prior to signing the “Memo of Understanding,” I will be available on Monday, April 17, and Thursday, April 20, from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. at SVGS to assist all accepted students. I will make a brief formal presentation beginning promptly at 6:30 p.m., followed by time for group and individual questions. Several teachers will also be available during those times to help you with specific course decisions.
Additionally, you and your parents may schedule an appointment to meet with me at your convenience as needed. However, if at all possible, the formal presentation on April 17 or 20 would be best for you to attend to obtain different viewpoints on your questions from SVGS teachers as well as from me. I will also meet with students individually at their high schools to review and assist them in course selections during the week of April 17.
Attached to this letter are several very important forms. The “Memo of Understanding” needs to be completed and returned to your high school counselor by Wednesday, April 26. The “Course Pre-Registration” form needs to be completed and returned to your counselor no later than Wednesday, May 10.
