An invoice for tuition and fees for the 2022-23 school year will be mailed the week of July 6, 2022.
Tuition and fees for first semester are due by Thursday, August 12. Payment plans are acceptable. With a payment plan, please be advised that all first semester fees must be paid in full by November 1, 2021. Failure to pay first semester fees in their entirety by this date will result in the student not being allowed the privilege of registering for second semester classes. An invoice for second semester tuition and fees will be mailed in January, 2022. For reference, please click here for a class list of tuition/fees.
PAYMENT INFORMATION
1. For your convenience, SVGS now allows payments to be made through the Infinite Campus Parent Portal. Parents/guardians may use this automated online payment system to pay dual enrollment, AP and course fees anytime. NOTE: There is a $3.50 service fee for each on-line transaction. This allows SVGS to recover some of the cost for providing this service. *Note- this is subject to change as we are moving to a new vendor by the end of July. More information will follow.
2. If you wish to avoid the service fee for credit card payments, cash and checks are still welcome. Please make checks payable to SVGS. Payment may be mailed to SVGS 49 Hornet Rd., Fishersville, VA 22939, or may be made in person at SVGS anytime 8:00 – 4:00 beginning Monday, July 26, or may be sent with students during orientation or the first day of school.
3. If a PAYMENT PLAN is needed, please contact Brent Hull (hullb@svgs.k12.va.us) as soon as possible. A payment plan does require an initial installment of 20% of the Semester 1 total to be paid by August 30 and regular payments each month. All Semester 1 fees and tuition must be paid in full by November 1, 2020. We will work with families as needed.
FOR STUDENTS WITH FINANCIAL NEED
The Parent Support Advisory Committee does offer some grants in aid for up to 50% of tuition. Funds are limited. Priority is given to students who are on Federal or State assistance programs. If applicable, this information MUST be included on the application for financial aid. Request to SVGS must not exceed 50% of total expense. Requests up to $100 can be approved by Director. Requests in excess of $100 must be approved by the Parent Support and Advisory Council Executive Board. Click here for an downloadable application.
