Excitement, strategy, and robotic prowess took center stage at the FIRST Robotics Glen Allen Event!
From Saturday to Sunday, teams battled it out in a thrilling round-robin competition. Matches were intense, with random alliances of three robots facing off in qualification rounds. Each match kicked off with a nail-biting 15-second autonomous period followed by 2 minutes and 15 seconds of intense student-controlled action in the tele-op period.
Our team’s robot showcased its precision and skill, scoring an impressive four times during the autonomous phase!
After 60 intense qualification matches, the top 8 seeded teams formed alliances for the playoffs. We were honored to be the first pick of the 5th-seeded team!
The playoff rounds followed a double-elimination format, with alliances battling to stay in the high bracket. Despite a valiant effort, our alliance faced tough competition and was eventually eliminated after a thrilling series of matches.
